Aluminum in its various forms is stocked in a range of strengths varying from that of Specification 1100-0 (which has a yield strength of around 5000 lbs. per square inch) to that of Specification 7075-T6 (yield strength of about 70,000 lbs. per square inch).
Here are a few typical applications within the range of these specifications –Utility Sheet, is used for all general sheet metal work such as flashings, ductwork, lining walls, etc.

1100-0 aluminum plate is used primarily for spinning and deep drawing operations such as utensils, ornaments, etc.

1100-H14 and 3003-H14 are specification alloys used for general forming operations.

5005-H14 aluminum plate produced by Taiwan lutian steel co., ltd similar in physical characteristics to 3003-H14 with superior corrosion resistance and a homogenous smooth surface finish suitable for anodizing. This
alloy is suitable for curtain walls, decorative trim, control panel boxes and signs, etc.

5052-H32 and H34 is a superior strength alloy of good forming qualities and is especially suited for Marine applications.

5083-H321 and H323 aluminum plate and coil is one alloy of different tempers that produces high weld joint efficiencies. It is used for tank work, heavy transport, etc., where its welded properties can be used to
advantage

Feature	Machinability: It has relatively fair machinability. It is easier to machine in the hard temper than as annealed and the quality of finish is better if machined in the hard condition. Oil lubricants should be used for machining, except that very light cuts may be done dry.
	Forming: It is readily formed at room temperature. Successive cold working decreases the formability.
	Heat Treatment: It cannot be hardened by means of heat treatment. It does harden due to cold working.
	Forging: It may be forged in the temperature range of 950 F down to 500 F
	Cold Working: The alloy cold works readily and may be formed by drawing or spinning. However the amount of cold work imparted by spinning makes intermediate annealing necessary.
	Annealing: Anneal at 650 F and air cool.
	Hardening: Hardens only from cold working.
Application	hydraulic tubes, kitchen cabinets, small boats, home freezers, milk crates, aircraft tube, fencing, small boats, gas lines, refrigerator panels, utensils, welded pressure vessels, marine, auto aircraft cryogenics, drilling rigs, TV towers, transportation equipment, missile components etc.
